You can admire the Dulle griet on the Groot Kanonplein in Ghent. The Dulle Griet (evil woman) , weighs no less than 12 500 kg. The cannon was moved from Oudenaarde to Ghent in the 16th century to be used in the fight against the Spaniards. Since 1943, the Dulle Griet has been a protected monument.
